Schuh - Faulty Shoes

I purchase some conversion shoes which in the inside back of the heel disintegrated with in 10days of purchase making them un wearable.

I promptly took them back to schuh who said it was wear and tear. I said it was not the shoes in question are must be faulty and there not fit fur purpose.

I then contact schuh customer services who asked me to post the shoes to there quality control team to identify the fault. I have done this and now had not response in 3 weeks.

I have now had to buy another pair of shoes as i have had no responce from them. hence i do not need the original pair, am i entitled to a refund under the sales of goods.
