Hi my question is probably a simple one should I be paying for goods I havent received. Sorry if its been asked before. I bought a Nikon lens on the 9th March. I didnt realise at the time there was a shortage due to flooding last year. I bought it on 6 months interest free credit paid my deposit and the payments have been coming out monthly. The lens is finally in stock and I should get it soon. But another camera shop claimed I shouldnt be paying money until I got the product. When ordering I thought the assistant mentioned something about 300 people wanting this lense and I never twigged. But she told me normally a product will be there within a week but it can take up to 28 days she had to tell me that because that could happen to keep theirselves right. Peter.

No of course you shouldn't, you are only supposed to pay for goods once they have been delivered and you have ha a chance to inspect them for quality.

SOGA is quite clear on this.
