I puchased a wind generator and mounting kit to fit on my boat. The mounting kit consists of stainless steel tubes and fittings which are rusting. The manufacturer admits they are not of marine grade stainless steel and has replaced one tube and is trying to resolve sourcing the other components. Erecting the generator is about a man-day's work.
Can I insist that the manufacturer also refits the replacement items?
I know my rights of redress are with the retailer, not the manufacturer. I copied in the retailer in the first instance, but I feel I am having good communication with the manufacturer.
