Topshop returns & Collect Plus

Hi

I made a large order online from Topshop which came in two parcels. I sent back most if it, also in 2 parcels. Topshop provided two return labels for Collect Plus in each parcel which I used. Unbeknown to me, because the order was the same, the labels had the same barcode. because of this, only one was scanned at the Collect Plus shop. When I asked about it, they said two had been registered against the same tracking number and wrote 'x2' on the receipt. Needless to say, one of the parcels has not turned up and I have since found out from Collect plus that only one parcel was scanned. I complained to Topshop as they should have surely given me two separate bar codes on the labels. They have told me to wait 28 days before sending the receipt in, but I am worried that they will say it's my fault or the Collect plus shop's fault. Who is responsible here? Am I entitled to demand a refund? The parcel contained £100's worth of clothes. Thanks!
