I recently had to replace the throttle valve on my Fiat Ducato based motorhome. The replacement cost over £400 and would not work when fitted. It turns out that Fiat had modified the part adding a new wiring loom. This cost an additional £200 that I had to pay.
My contention is that I should not have to pay the additional cost of the modification and that Fiat should have recalled the motorhome for the modification to be made.
Fiat won't budge!
