I have a massive problem that I am dealing with- namely ex is trying to get my name removed from a jointly owned house, not a straight forward case-but anyway-he his now trying to decrease the value of the property, by asking the Court to consider his repairs and replacements to the kitchen, bathroom, floors and walls-replastering and painting, radiators, skirting etc hardware costs of £22,500 approx- with his labour @ £200 a day for 350 days total £70,000. Receipts provided, but many taken from his normal self employed business as a general builder and not particluarly for this property.
Where could I get some evidence or expert opinion to the validity of this quote. I cannot gain access to the property. It is valid approx £285,000 and is a Victorian 2 bed garden/basement flat on 2 levels, typical of trendy Kenninton and The Angel, with the airey and entrance downstairs as well as above street level.
also where do I report him for doing electrical work he is not qualified for
