Hi

I bought a 2006 Audi A3 from a an Audi Specialist dealership on Monday 12th april at 3pm

I paid £13900.00 on debi card direct from bank.

at 9am on Tuesday 13th April a fauklt in the engine caused catastrophic Engine failure rendering it a complete write off with the only possible solution being a replacement engine.

They have told me that they are going to buy a 2nd hand engine from a smashed up car in a junk yard and replace it with that.

I have requested to the Seller that I wish to reject the vehicle for a full cash refund , I do not feel that even with a replcement engine that I am getting the car that I paid for and after less than 1 day I feel it is unreasonable of the seller to refuse the refund, which they have done.
I have spoken to trading standards and written to the seller with recorded delivery letter requesting the full refund.

Does anyone think that the Seller has any case for not refunding me?

I had driven only 70 mile in the vehicle and had just filled the tank with £65 of deisel, then parked up for the night, this happened as soon as I pulled of in the morning.

I am financially ruined by this if it is not resolved and even if the garage give me extra extra warranty I dont feel it is acceptable, why should I accept this?

PLEAS HELP I AM GOING OUT OF MY MIND WITH THE STRESS :0(
