I bought a double bed from a furniture shop.It was delivered and fitted by the shop.Cost of bed £140 plus delivery charges paid.After a year and half (bought in december 2008)it has broken(crashed)The shop at first asked me another £45 for repairing the bed.Then when I wrote to them a letter by recorded delivery that they should either refund or repair the bed at their own cost or else I will take legal action.They say they have ordered the broken part from the manufacturers and it will take two weeks.In the meantime I am sleeping on the floor on the mattress.I am 70 years old and I have back problems and it is very difficult for me to sleep on the mattress.Could you advise what I should do?
