Bought a Mitsubishi Shogun for 7k from a large 2nd hand car dealer and it broke down within 20 minsof leaving the forecourt. Turn out the engines siezed due to head gasket problems. I asked for my money back but the garage has refused and said they will fix it by fitting another engine. Are they legally bound to refund my money and if they continue to refuse will I have to take them to court or is there some other to get my money back? Pretty sure they were aware of the problem before they sold the car!

Hi, they have an obligation to fix it, or refund you. If they have offered to repair it, you will have to give them the opportunity to do so. If they can not, or will not, then you can pursue them for a refund.
