From September, we're planning on making some changes to our reports pages. In order to speed up the time it takes your contributions to appear on the site, from now on, we'd like you to email us your thoughts rather than leave comments.

Although we appreciated the many comments that people left beneath the stories in the last series, the risk of libel meant that we had to fail or edit very many of them, so this approach will mean that we'll be able to publish a round-up of reactions to a story much more quickly.

You'll still be able to watch and read about Watchdog's films on our reports page, and each story will include instructions as to how you can get in touch at the top of the article.

For example, a film about fast food would include this paragraph:

Do you have something to say about this story? Tell us what you think by emailing us here. Don't forget to include 'Fast Food' in the subject line.

Watchdog will publish a selection of viewers' comments underneath each story, both throughout and after the programme is on air.

We've loved hearing what you have to say about our reports over the last couple of series, and look forward to hearing lots more of what you have to say in the future...
