Some big lenders, including Nationwide and Northern Rock are not passing on the full rate cut in their standard variable mortgage rates, and HSBC are not passing on any cut.
Is anyone impacted by this? I have a tracker mortgage and they have to pass the full rate cut on as it is in the T&Cs of the mortgage but if I had a mortgage on a lender's standard variable rate I really would not be impressed.
