Hi

Was wondering if anyone has come across same issues.

Refurbished house, purchased lots from B and Q.

The handles of the door within 3 months have rust on it. Item was purchased with my builder's tradepoint card, however I paid for it.

Initially the customer services told me they would reimburse me if I gave proof oh much I paid builder. I told them I did not receive an itemised bill from my builder.

I am not equipped to take the handle off and install a new one (women!)

B and Q have agreed to refund but will not send someone to install the handles or reimburse me for the fitter costs.

They have said as it is purchased through Tradepoint they dont have to.

Surely that cannot be correct they have still infringed the statutory rights as handle is not fit for purpose and has not lasted a reasonable length of time.

Further I am now being inconvenienced for a faulty B and Q item.

The builder will not replace the locks for free.

Any thoughts ?

Thanks
