Match.com Automatic Renewals - Your rights

I had a Match.com account which was up for renewal on 20th March 2011. I had not used the account for months and they have automatically taken £78 from my credit card on that date.

There was no renewal letter / email sent out.

I have tried to cancel the account and get a refund and been told 'unlucky'.

Legally do I have a period of time that subscriptions can be cancelled, especially if I have not had notification that the money is going to be taken??

Hi Cracker,

I came across this thread while researching match.com. Did you manage to get this resolved. I am also having problems with them

Apologies I have just realised that this thread is years old and you have probably forgotten about all your match.com woes....
