Choices for the bride-to-be really take center stage for the next few months until your wedding day. You have selected the engagement ring for yourself and the person of your choice. You've also picked the person of your dreams. The next major choice is to decide on a set of wedding rings that will complement your style and let the world to know your preferences in life partner and in symbols of your commitment. There are so many wedding rings designs available today and it can be quite a challenge to locate a set of wedding rings that complement and balance your engagement ring's beauty.

Women who have received an engagement ring that they view as perfect are most anxious to find wedding rings that are on a par with the engagement rings for uniqueness and beauty. The women don't want to purchase wedding rings that are less than a perfect match. They don't want to wear rings which detract from or on the other hand overwhelm the engagement ring. For this reason, finding wedding rings that have similar design elements so that the two different rings well at least blend in design. It's also important that the two rings fit nicely together.

Engagement rings of today are often very elaborate so it is hard to find wedding rings which are nicely matched. Unless the jeweler happens to have a matching wedding ring in stock or the engagement and wedding rings were purchased as a set, a matching set of rings may be hard to find.

At least attempt to find out from your jeweler where you bought your engagement ring whether he might have a matching wedding bands set. Since most jewelers won't be able to help you find a matching ring it's better to try to prevent the problem rather than try to solve it after the fact.

When there is space between the side of the engagement ring and that of the wedding band, there are generally three measures which can be taken to deal with the problem. You can choose a contoured wedding ring or wrap which doesn't look good by itself, but fits snugly against the engagement ring. The second approach is to accept a band which doesn't fit tightly against the engagement ring. The third plan is to have a custom ring created that incorporates the correct fit and other features.
