Just returned from a week at a holiday let in Cornwall whose agents are Hoseasons. The owners failed to state in their property description that a very busy Public Footpath ran through the property about 10' from the large glass patio doors adorning the lounge. Therefore privacy and security was comprimised and it spoilt our holiday. Have sent written complaints to both owners and Hoseasons as agents and all I have received is written apologies. As the holiday was ruined because of this obviously important fact about the property I expected a meaningful gesture of goodwill. What are my rights in this matter?
