Asda has announced it will follow Tesco and not have big name celebrities as part of its Christmas campaign.

While the notion of them "passing the saving onto shopper" is mildly amusing I must admit I look forward to the adverts. That Morrisons one with all the celebs in the shop at one time looks like and advertising executives idea of heaven. I've often wondered where celebs go to do their weekly shop, it seems now we have discovered that it is one store in Morrisons, at a secret location.
Of course the flip side of this is, we run the risk of another "Howard from the Halifax" becoming a TV star... "Agnes from Asda" has a nice ring to it.
