I wonder if anyone could give me some advice.
We have just had the NHBC come out to see us as they have just had a report from the builders (house built 2009) that there maybe issues with our windows.
The windows themselves should be 800mm off the floor. Ours are not (approx 700mm from floor to window).
So for the last few years we have been living in a house which is not safe. I assume if someone had fallen out of our window this would not of been covered by our insurers.
Apparently we need a bar to put on the window as a restrictor. We do not want this and want our windows to be open as wide as we want.
Can anyone offer advice for the best course of action.
