I bought 33 packs of oak flooring from B&Q to lay in the downstairs of my new house. I had to buy 2 different batch numbers as they did not have sufficient of 1 batch number. The smaller batch was laid in the hallway and study. The larger batch was laid in the lounge/diner. Both areas were laid in a 2 day period after a 6 week acclimatisation period, using the same materials and methods by the same fitter. After a few weeks when we had some hot weather (we Did you know) the floor in the lounge/diner'grew' raising a small hump. Over the next few weeks this hump grew into a 3 inch high trip hazard. The other floor remained flat and still does to this day. B&Q have said that it is a fitting fault and dispite the fact the floor is STILL growing 6 months later. Has anybody else had trouble with the 3 plank real oak floor bought from B&Q in January/February 2012 and how have you got on with complaining
