i started the Small Claim Court procedure against a company that was paid to renovate our floorboards and install an insulating underlay but we later discovered that they didn't install the underlay. In their defence paper they claim that they have encountered financial difficulties and have applied for the company to be dissolved. They claim that they have no asset. The small claim court application already cost me £100, then i have to pay another £40 for the allocation questionnaire, then it'll be another £365 for the hearing, then presumably another £100 for the judgement to be enforced. But if they truly have no money then... where does that leave me?
Any advice would be really appreciated.
thanks.
