I found this today... For the life of me I cannot figure out how this is more secure than the chip and pin system...

The things that bother me are does the quality of the phone line affect the system, what if you have a cold, or sore throat or equivalent how does the system recognise this? Won't the likes or Rory Bremner and John Culshaw be able to rip us all off? Will accents or languages affect its usefulness?
I love the idea of it, but seeing how poorly some Voice recognition software works at present, even just the voice dialling on my mobile is so hit and miss that I never use it, just makes me worry at how secure this really would be. Certainly until we can digitise the phone system.
