I have two separate vehicle insurance policys, one for my business van and one for my private car, they are both with different companys, and I have full no claims protected with both policys.
I had a little bump in my van and it was my fault, my insurance company were brilliant and sorted it all out.
Now it is time to renew my car insurance I told them about the accident in the van as I thought it was a material fact, and now they want to charge me extra on my policy and they are classing it as a own fault accident, and they are classing it as a claim against my ncd even though it is protected, and even though I was not covered with them for the van accident.
Does this sound right?
