I'll post various relevant offers I come across here. When I was a student I bought a paving slab and wrote "let's pave the future together" on it amongst other things - it only cost £1. It must have gone down well as I am now married to the lady in question.

My wife and I save lots of money on Valentines Day, as we have never bothered with it!

I find it more romantic to be properly spontaneous throughout the year than feel pressurised to 'do something' on a particular day.

I must admit I don't either... and I must remember to be spontaneously romantic... I guess it is kind of obligatory if you have just started going out with someone.
