Recycling yourselves - what have you made?

Hi all, I thought it would be good to hear what sorts of things any of you have made out of other things. I have been trying to buy a sandpit for ages but my husband wouldn't hear of me spending money on planks of wood. So, he's now happily out in the garden turning my childrens cot beds into a boat sandpit, complete with bough, stern and I think sail (although not sure what he's going to use for that!). The sandpits I wanted were quite expensive so it's brilliant to think we've recycled and saved ourselves a few bob. Anybody else done anything like that?
