McAfee false-positive glitch fells PCs worldwide

I had McFee virus span for a while, as the sales person told me it was the best and was given a discount deal included in the purchase.
I found out afterwards that AVG was free, and provided the same protection - at least that was the advice of our company IT guru. That saved me some cash, and I've never had a problem yet.

Personally I don't like the way AVG takes over the PC and gets into your browser. I now use Kaspersky. I don't think there is much difference. I think Microsoft have now made their "One Care" security product free and a much needed new name.
