I have had a set of LED lighting bars for use on stage during gigs for approx 8 months. They have been well looked after and kept in flightcases the entire time I have owned them. They have now developed a fault where several of the LED's have stopped working.
I returned them to the shop where I purchased them and he is saying that they have to go back to the manufacturer ,which I understand for them to be repaired, but is also claiming that I have to pay for the carriage to send them?
By my reckoning under the sales of goods act its his responsibility or the manufacturers to pay this.
Can someone please help clear this up for me?

Thanks in advance

You are absolutely right - you should not be out of pocket because they are faulty - just mention SOGA.
