I purchased a flight on line and they reduced the price within hours of the purchase do I have any rights with regard to getting the flight at the reduced price?

I am afraid not, the distance selling regulations exclude rights. If it had been a toaster you could have cancelled within seven days of delivery, posted it back and bought a new one at the lower price - probably not worth the bother unless there was a big saving.
Think of it the other way round - if tomorrow they raised the price would you offer to pay the difference?
