I'm currently having my house extended. The builders have been here for 5 mths, but they said it would only take 3-4 months. They seem to be losing interest and taking on other jobs. They have a final payment pending, but I will with hold this until work complete. I want to penalise them on a weekly basis if they delay any longer, but am unsure by how much (cash)?
