Hm, slightly unrelated but that's just twigged my memory. I remember having a BT phonecard with a special phone number on it in the days before mobiles. When I phoned the number on it I would be connected to my parents, and the charge for the call would appear on their home phone bill. That way I never needed to have money on me to phone home.

I guess all kids seem to have mobiles nowadays.
