I booked a flight with KLM and they have cancelled the inbound flight from Mexico to Amsterdam to London. They only have flights now on the previous day or the day after. I was set to leave on the friday coming and come back the sunday after. Am I entitled to the compensation (Or is that only for flights when you get to the airport and it is cancelled then)? I was told advised of this the flight cancellation ~15th Oct and the return flight was on the 1st Nov. But the outbound flight is on the 23rd. So that means they let me know just over 14 days before the actual flight in question (however it upsets my whole holiday!)
