I recently paid for a service with a property agent over the phone. I was told that I had 28 days to change my mind. They immediately started sending me information about properties but the info they were sending me was not what i asked for , not in my area price range etc so i rang them for a refund. I have now been told that I can't have the refund as I requested information straight away so the cooling off period does not apply. However I never said that I wanted info straight away and I was certainly not told that it would void my cooling off period. Can I claim the money back via the visa chargeback? If anyone can help I would appreciate it I'm really worried about this.
