Credit Card Acceptance Criteria?

Why are you surprised, did you have a bad credit rating and were you denied credit cards before? That was actually my situation until recently. I managed to improve my bad credit rating using my prepaid card and was approved a credit card that would have surely been declined a year ago

I wasn't accepted despite high income. Do you know their criteria?

That's odd, when i was declined a credit card I opted for a prepaid card instead, you're guaranteed to be approved and they come with a bunch of benefits
