Repairs Carried Out and Paid For....Problem Has Re-Occurred

Hello all - appreciate any thoughts / advice on the following predicament I have.

Around 4 months ago I had a problem with my car, where I had persistent knocking coming up through the brake pedal on my car, whenever I applied the brake.

As I did not want to pay main dealer premium prices, I took the car to my local Ford Specialist.

To cut a long story short, I ended up paying somewhere close to £500 for repairs to basically rebuild the driver's side wheel, right down to the hub. When I paid for the repairs, the guy specifically said I could avoid such a bill if I did not want to replace the wheel hub, but he could not guarantee the problem would not reoccur in future. With this in mind I paid the full whack to have a new hub to avoid any future problems.

I paid the full amount as quoted, but now some 4 months down the line, exactly the same problem has come up again i.e. I have knocking again coming up through the brake pedal which to me feels like it is coming from the same wheel where I had the repairs carried out.

Do I have any come back legally, or will I have to fork out again for the repairs?

Thanks in advance.
