I had a shower fitted one year ago. Following problems with the power cutting out, I have had the electrician back out to check the electrical components. The electrician stated that the electrical circuitry was secure. Following this I approached the shower manufacturer who agreed to check the shower but informed me that there would be a charge if no fault was found with the shower unit. The shower engineer has examined the unit and stated there was no fault with the shower, suggesting the fault was electrical.
Under the circumstances, would it be reasonable to expect the electrician to cover the call-out cost of the shower engineer? What are my consumer rights in this situation?
