I purchased a console game from GAME, the game itself crashed numerous times. I went to exchange it for a new game altogether and was told i had to prove that it was happening. They game me a brand new copy of the game and the same issues were happening. I took photographic evidence of this and went back to the store.
They have told me that i have to take the issue up with the developer regarding the game crashes.
However my viewpoint is that they (GAME) have willingly sold me a game which they more than likely knew had bug issues.
From the SOGA perspective, I should be entitled to a full refund as i have been sold an item which does not perform how it should and is not fit for use.
I have argued the case with customer services who were of no help at all.
It is my understanding that i have a contract with GAME as they sold me the item and not with the developer.
Should i be entitled to a full refund?
