item sent back no refund

Back in October i returned a faulty product to amazon and they told i would recieve a full refund within 5 - 7 days from them receiving it well they received and confirmed to retrieval of it on the 13 oct 2016. Now here is the infuriating part. My refund was apparently sent to my old card no. with which i ordered the item on but the wrong bank. They told ,e to get my bank to send them information that my bank cant send them due to data protection. Im pulling my hair out as i dnt know what to do as amazon keep fobbing me off and refusing to admit their mistakes

Amazon are usaully great at things like this - I suggest that you try to escalate and tell them you would like to make a formal complaint. Ask them what the procedure is?
