Can anyone help??? I sold an item on EBay for £35.00 and (as a favour to the vendor who was going on holiday) posted the item that day expecting payment later in the afternoon. She has said that the item has arrived and that she has posted a cheque (as she was unable to transfer the money on-line that day) but this was over 2 weeks ago.
I called EBay's advice line. I was sure that as a transaction on their site is legally binding that they would be able to assist me in chasing or reclaiming the money but they have told me that they cannot help, despite this 'legally binding agreement'!
Is there anything I can do? Surely this legal agreement (and the fact that she has admitted that she has the item) means that she must legally pay me?
I have sent repeated emails (through EBay) but had no response.
