Re sign car finance

Hi

I picked a car up on Tuesday (4th Feb) after being told on Monday (3rd Feb) finance was approved.

I have a copy of the conditional sale agreement (so assume finance is approved) but the dealer wants to change the mileage on it and have me re-sign it. Am i being done for increased payments here or am i being paranoid?

I have called the customer services team at the finance company who have no record of me but there is a record of them accessing my credit file.

Any ideas what is going on?

I wouldn't do it, is the mileage incorrect? Does it have the financial terms on it? Deposit, payments, period of credit etc? You could take a copy of it and refuse to sign a new agreement if the details have changed
