Bought December 2017 from argos, 55" smart tv. Upgraded our plasma. Just discovered, as we now wish to use the TV lounge, ( husband hard of hearing, and we need to use them to stop conflict when the family watches together)that there is absolutely no headphone function on it ! And I mean none.. not wired, not wireless, not transmitter, not bluetooth.. nowt. As we assumed there would be, its a smart TV ! assumed it would be bluetooth enabled as most others are.. we thought we were future proofing ourselves regarding tv etc..
Would this be returnable as not fit for purpose ? there was no indication at point of sale that it did not have hat basic function ? I have contacted argos and they say they are sorry, but as I have had the tv a few months I cant change it. How do I stand here ? Can I say it doesnt do what it should ? as far as the law stands ? help please
