Selling computer secondhand

My son sold his laptop privately last night and the buyer was very pleased with it.

Now this morning she has text my son to say there is a penis shape scratched onto the front next to the keyboard and she wants her money back. There is nothing wrong with the laptop working and this is not in question, its just the scratch that she wants a refund for.
We know nothing about this. Does she have the right to demand and get her money back. My son is very upset as he is adamant that there was nothing there when he sold it.
