In what regard though? If we are talking about consoles, I would go with Sony. For most other things I would go with Sony actually. However, Microsoft is so vast (as is Sony) that we need a bit more information before we can accurately answer the question…so what did you mean OP?

If it is phones, then Microsoft would give you the same Windows 10 experience as your pc or laptop. Also, Cortana reminders run in sync and can be time or location triggered.

Exactly, It's really a big innovation by Microsoft; it give awesome experience. But if you think about the hardware, I will prefer to go with the Sony.
