“We estimate that there is £25 BILLION of unclaimed money in the UK, and it is vital to make people aware that they can reconnect with their money - FOR FREE.” – Monimine.com.

Thousands of UK families could be sitting on piles of unclaimed cash and not even realise it. A study conducted by the Financial Conduct Authority estimated that a variation of between £10 and £20 billion of unclaimed money is trapped in the UK.

Further research has indicated that this figure could rise to £25 billion in lost assets, within the dormant accounts of UK financial institutions.

Unclaimed assets can become trapped within an array of your financial accounts, including bank and building society accounts, workplace pensions, insurance policies, rainy day savings and even inheritances.

Have you or anybody you know ever come into contact with unclaimed assets, is it something you were aware of and do you think the topic needs to be addressed?
