evening folks, hoping someone may be able to help me.
i saw in Autotrader, Exchange & Mart and a local car dealers website they have a car for for sale priced £999, today i put a £200 deposit down on the car advertised for £999, when i looked at the receipt, i noticed the dealer had sold me the car for £1099! i asked him about this and he said what he charged was the right price and i said it was 999 online and then he pulled out the sign from the car which said 1099, i asked the other dealer who works there a week or so back is it 999 or 1099? and he did say it was 999.
im really not happy about this, the car really isn't worth 999 let alone 1099, i would really like my deposit back, i do not wish to purchase the car at all now.
where do i stand with this please as a friend said i could get my deposit back over this. i have also noticed he pulled down the adverts for the car which was priced at 999 but he didn't pull down the advert on another website and i now have screen shots of it being priced at 999. i wouldn't know where to start.
