In Dec 2009 I bought a seconhand PSP Console complete with games on Memory sticks for my son from a well known internet sight via one of their sellers.
On purchasing a new game for my son as he is now bored with the games supplied I find the console has been 'modchipped' which was not described in the sale description nor was I aware what this method is or what it entails after finding out his new game won't work on the console.
I understand this practice is illegal and I have good reason to believe that some of the games on the memory cards are not on general sale to the public at the time therefore believing games software piracy has taken place.
The internet website has told me that the software can be restored at cost but my argument with them is that the item sold is not fit for the purpose and that the seller is passing on fraudulent goods via their website.
I have asked for a refund on return but been refused due to the fact it is several months down the line.
Does anyone know where I stand here?
