Back in July '14 (23rd) we bought 8M of off the roll material from Laura Ashley to make some curtains.
We checked when the delivery arrived that it was the correct material type and colur which it was.
Then on 29th September (so about 2 months after reciept) we unrolled the material to start making the curtains only to find that they had sent only 3.6M!
Their customer services (who are normally very good) said they are not responsible as we had not checked the goods and that their time limit had expired.
We did not think to unroll 8M of material at the time as it would have been tricky to re-roll, we trusted that it would (as all other purchases from them) be right.
Where do we stand? They say we need to but the material again. 3.6 M is only 1.5 drops so we need to buy at least 5M again.
We are not impressed with the attitude of the assistant on the phone either. we spend £0,000s with LA
