Gymophobics problem

So I signed up at gymophobics last June; I was at a low point and thought a "real" gym wouldn't work for me, so I signed up for a year's membership. I read thoroughly and it said both of these:

• You can cancel, but it will be three month's membership (£108)
• If you don't pay for two months, we will take it that you have cancelled.

I then lost my job, my dad started paying the membership fee. He then didn't pay for two months after I got myself together and went to a serious gym. So I expected £180 of fees to pay, as I had signed the forms. I got a bill for £318.

I want to know what I can do, if this is fair, etc. etc. I haven't had a chance to actually sort this out, and I'm getting really worried
