While Googling for my broken TV, I see lots of sites that offer repair manuals for various goods, that you can download at a price. Has anyone ever used these manuals? Are they actually useful and comprehensive of is it a con? I like to have a bit of a bodge about (plumbing a speciality!!) and if i can't afford an engineer repair would invest a few quid if I believed I would get a good manual. Experience anyone???
