I thought I'd sneak in another question.
I ordered some clothes online this week from a mail order catalogue (Very, formerly Littlewoods Direct). One item was marked as having £11 off (and I took a screenshot of the webpage to prove this).
When I added it to my basket, the full price was displayed. I ordered anyway, along with some other items, and sent Very an e-mail pointing out the mistake. Their reply? It was a website error and I'd have to pay the full price.
The webpage has now been altered to show the full price, but I still have my screenshot (with date and time of order).
Is this right? Don't they have to honour the price they advertised?
Thanks for any answers you can give me.
