Hello, I'm new hear.

I bought a MacBook in July 2012 from comet and purchased extra care to cover accidental damage.

The problem is that they picked up the MacBook 3 weeks and 1 day ago. After enquiring last week they said the part was on order still. Now they're getting no where.
What legistlation do I have to help me. I don't think taking 3 weeks is really acceptable I need to use it now ( I move to uni next week).

Any help would be great thanks :)

Hi,
This all depends on whether you're claiming your repair under your statutory rights or under the terms of your warranty.

If under your statutory rights - they must carry out the repair within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to yourself.

If under your warranty - it all depends on the terms of your warranty - check your paperwork.
