Any advice on time sensitive deliveries would be most welcome please. I needed to send legal papers to Turkey by the next day or risk losing a house sale as buyers threatened to pull out. DHL said they could deliver before close of business, local time the next day & if not they would pay me £500 compensation. DHL did not deliver the next day & they are refusing to pay me the £500 compensation. DHL say the staff who gave me the information & processed my 'order' got it wrong - yet the 2 different staff members I spoke to on 2 separate days are both supervisors at DHL.
I am considering taking DHL through small claims court for breach of contract on 2 issues. 1) non delivery as promised & 2) non payment of promised compensation. Anyone had any similar experiences? If so I would love to hear from you. Many thanks. Jules
