Asda launches digital magazines shop with free offer - Brand Republic News - Brand Republic
While probably a greener option, I can't help feeling that people who will use these magazines, will probably be the ones who sneak onto Facebook at work when the boss isn't looking. If I read a magazine, it tends to be when I am away from the PC and is often a form of relaxation away from it. Also a lot of people read magazines on journeys etc, which then renders this a little pointless, unless you are able to use your mobile broadband to download the magazine onto your laptop... which is all rather cumbersome compared to folding it up and putting it in your bag.
Still, a free offer is a free offer and I shouldn't knock it until I've tried it I suppose...
